Winter Skin Saviours

These winter months are definitely drawing on my skin, making it feel and look dull and dry. There is an upside to the nasty effects of this cold weather though; I’m almost obliged to treat my skin to a little TLC! There are three hero facemasks I turn to in this time of need and I would highly recommend you give
them a try.

Lancôme Hydra Zen Night Masque
I only have a small pot of this as it was a tester but they do say that great things come in small packages. This overnight serum-in-mask delivers intense hydration overnight meaning you get to wake up to nourished smooth skin, a radiant glow and reduced signs of stress and fatigue.
The consistency is light and fresh, like a serum but still delivers the replenishing qualities of cream masks.

Balance Me Radiance Face Mask
Consisting of 98% natural ingredients, this facemask was a chance find, nestling itself in one of the Lookfantastic Beauty Boxes. Not only does the fruit acid complex hydrate and smooth but this beauty also replenishes the skin by removing any impurities thanks to the ground walnut shell. The blend of rosemary, palma rosa, lavender and Roman chamomile oils get to work to soften and cleanse whilst leaving the skin smelling delicious.
Simply massage a 5p amount onto clean skin and leave for five minutes. Next, remove the mask with a damp cloth or cotton wool pad. You wont be able to stop touching your face!

Clarins HydraQuench Cream-Mask for Dehydrated Skin
I have been such a huge fan of this facemask for a good couple of years now; it is just so moisturizing and hydrating. I can’t get enough of it. Sometimes I treat myself and leave the mask on overnight instead of removing it after 5-10 minutes – simple pleasures eh…
How it works: “Katafray draws moisture to the skin—then seals it in to smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Sorbier Bud helps stimulate micro-circulation for a healthy-looking glow.”

Kiehls Ultra Facial Overnight Hydrating Masque
When you peel open the lid to this facemask, the first thing that will hit you is the overpowering medicinal smell, followed by the surprising clear gel like consistency. Whilst the smell and consistency don’t lend themselves to your typical facemask, I can happily promise you that this mask genuinely works. This facemask helps the skin to absorb and hold moisture, delivering smooth, hydrated and healthy skin. Containing glacial proteins and desert plant, it leaves skin feeling soft, revitalized and replenished.
As soon as you start to lather this mask on your skin, you’ll believe its promises of waking up to hydrated and revived skin.

I hope you get to try at least one of these hydrating and moisturising face masks; they're the perfect remedy for your skin, especially at this time of the year!
